Game mechanicsJust like the original, Pic-a-Pix Deluxe is based on nonograms, a?type of puzzle invented by Japanese graphic designer Non Ishida. There are three hundreds puzzles included, each requiring players to paint boxes of diagram so they form pixel-art pictures (colored or black-and-white). Numbers above and on sides of a?puzzle show how many squares of a?row or a?column must be filled with each color to finish the challenge. Diagrams come in various difficulties, ranging from the simplest 5x5 boxes to the most difficult 35x25 squares. Game modesPic-a-Pix Deluxe makes use of features of Nintendo Switch, allowing not only single player experience, but also cooperation mode for up to three players through local multiplayer. Technical aspectsLike Pic-a-Pix Color, Pic-a-Pix Deluxe uses simple two-dimensional visuals. Aside from content designed for this game, developers provided additional puzzles from Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Wii U in form of DLCs.
