Take on Mars for PC is a simulator of research mission's planetary rovers on the Red Planet. It was produced by Bohemia Interactive studio. Game aims at realistically representing exploration of the titular planet. We take the lead of one of several rovers and landers, and armed with cutting-edge research tools we deal with scientific missions. Game modes Take on Mars for PC offers a campaign mode and single missions. In the first of these modes we are in control of the space agency. Our task, in addition to exploring Mars, is to conduct research on new technologies and construct more advanced equipment. All of this in order to cope with challenges of increasing difficulty. In contrast, single missions focus solely on traversing the surface of the Red Planet and performing specific tasks. Gameplay Additional attractions are powerful modding tools, allowing us to create our own adventures and to introduce new vehicles and locations. Game realistically simulates the behavior of rovers. Cameras, mechanical arms, and even individual wheels or tracks are prone to damage. In campaign mode there is an economic system in which the player must properly balance the agency's budget, having in mind the balance of the funds gained for successful missions and the expenses of those to come.
