Line of Sight for PC is an online first-person shooter created by Black Spot Entertainment a South-Korean studio founded in 2011. Originally, the game was to deliver a continuation to Combat Arms a popular free-to-play shooter, which came out in 2008. After the publisher's withdrawal from the project, that is, the Nexon company, the devs from BSE slightly modified the concepts behind the gameplay formula along with both the game's plot and business model. Entitled Line of Sight, the game was released as a fully independent product. PlotThe storyline present in Line of Sight reaches as far back as to the World-War II period. Facing their end, the Nazis began to conduct their secret experiments, aiming to create a genetically modified soldier (the so-called Uber Soldier). After the war, part of the team that worked on the project found shelter in the USA, where they continued their work under the auspices of the government. After many years spent on research and testing on criminals who had been sentenced to death, Dr Adrian Geiger created a group of modified soldiers that did not go beyond the brutal nature of the testing subjects and became a serious threat to the government. Trying to compensate for his mistake, Geiger developed a completely new being Alpha Child, that is free from the genetical flaws of its dangerous predecessors and constitutes the quintessential part of Geiger's work. The US government broke the cooperation with the scientist however, who afterwards fled to Russia in fear of getting his creation destroyed. Meanwhile, with help of Dr Hendrix, the Americans managed to create their own type of a soldier that is even better, and above all, remains loyal to the US. A group known as the Centurions was the result of their work they were entrusted with the task of fighting those initially created by Geiger. Finding Alpha Child became the prime objective for both the sides of the conflict, as it meant the only hope for victory. MechanicsLine of Sight for PC is a well-balanced, dynamic FPS game. The players choose between two sides of the conflict and compete against one another in several different modes. The creators themselves refer to their game as to a multi-player combination of BioShock and Call of Duty although Line of Sight is very similar to the aforementioned Combat Arms in terms of the mechanics, the experience is diversified here with a series of new employments, and one of the most important innovations here is the introduction of psionic powers.
